摘要
The application of predictive control algorithms on the electrical drives is currently subject of considerable interest and development. Nowadays, the predictive torque control represents a competitive solution as an alternative to the conventional feedback control schemes. In accordance with this, the paper proposes a Model Predictive Control for Surface Permanent Magnet motors with wide constant power range. The predictive algorithm uses a Direct Flux Vector Control scheme for the simultaneous control of the stator flux and torque-producing current component. The proposed drive scheme is perfectly able to operate under both current and voltage constraints, ensuring high performance capability in the complete speed range as well. The proposed control solution has been tested on a direct drive permanent magnet machine for home appliances (600W, 1200 rpm). The experimental results demonstrate the full drive controllability, including deep flux-weakening operation.
