Individual self-regulation and human character

The author discusses the problem of typology of character, summing up data from years of, research of individual self-regulation styles in different types of character accentuations. Describing the regulatory basis and the style-forming role of a subject's personality traits (responsibility, persistence, independence, flexibility etc.), the, author argues that effectiveness of individual self-regulation depends not so much on the accentuation type, as on development in a person of subject qualities whose different combinations are specific to specific character types.
