Nonlinear coherent propagation of femtosecond optical pulses in semiconductors

摘要：
In studying ultrafast nonlinear optical response of semiconductor system around exciton resonance, coherent propagation effect plays a very important role In this work, nonlinear coherent propagation of femtosecond optical pulses in semiconductors is studied by time resolved spectroscopy For ZnP2 sample, measurements at intensities around ImJ/cm(2) lead to slower decay and a clear reduction of the coherent signal amplitude. The experimental result is compared with the numerical calculation of the Maxwell Bloch equations.
