摘要
Today, Beowulf systems are managed by operating on each node as a stand alone machine rather than a parallel system. In the present work, Yabat, a new software tool deviced to configure and monitor a Linux cluster; is described. To achieve a single system view, Yabat allows network services configuration on both server and client side, centralized configuration of nodes network parameters and global system resources monitoring from a simple and easy to use GUI. Furthermore, it helps the administrator in keeping a coherent configuration across the whole cluster and, in case of nodes unavailability, it keeps track of the changes done, those will be applied to the nodes as soon as they come back to work. The intuitive GUI makes it useful even for distance monitoring and administration over remote secure connections.
