摘要
The slot-array-grating slow wave structure (SWS) as the high frequency system of a 0.14 THz backward wave oscillator (BWO) is designed and simulated. Compared with single-beam situations, the beam-wave interaction efficiency has been significantly increased, the starting current and the time to stable state has been reduced when driven by two sheet beams. These attractive results show that the slot-array-grating BWO has a promising value as a terahertz radiation source.
