摘要：
The article presents the results of the research of the theoretical and practical approaches to essence, principles, functions and methods of crisis management for machine-building enterprises. It is grounded that crisis is one of the states in the activity or is a separate case in the process of transitive development. A model of crisis management process is constructed, the principle of a crisis policy as a catalyst is introduced, and the description of key methods in crisis management is given.
