摘要：
The paper discusses the role of entrepreneurship education in human capital development as Malaysia introduces a new economic model to propel it from the middle-income "trap" to a high-income economy, the key issues discussed include the following: the demand for a new approach to entrepreneurship education, the implications on university management. This paper provides a microperspective of the changing trends in Malaysia's human capital development, using Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) experience as a case study. To contextualise the discussion, this case study discusses the dynamics and challenges in introducing entrepreneurship education at the UKM.
