摘要
Material is the basis of Urban Public Facilities Design (UPFD). The reasonable selection and application of materials directly affect the product design of city public facilities. Combined with the model and the relevant theories, this article analyses the principles of material applied in Urban Public Facilities Design (UPFD), shows the specific impact factors and results of material's material attributes and cultural attributes to the structure and appearance of public facilities, and sums up the Sustainable Development of Materials (SDM) is contributed to improve the development requirements of public facilities design, as well as how to achieve environmental protection. The theoretical results not only can be applied to urban public facilities design practice, also to modelling design and structure design of the other industrial product.
