Data Center Load Balancing Technology based on Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm

摘要
In the traditional companies' large data centers, due to the irrational use of resources, load imbalance caused a lot of waste of resources. This paper summarizes the latest research progress and problems of load balancing scheduling algorithm. We propose a placement algorithm based on ant colony optimization algorithm for virtual machines. In order to verify the performance of the algorithm, we implement the algorithm on the open source cloud simulation platform CloudSim. Through comparing with greedy strategy based placement algorithm and basic ant colony algorithm on the CloudSim platform, we demonstrate that the load balancing degrees of different resources in different issue scales are superior to other methods after using the ant colony optimization algorithm for virtual machines' placement.
