摘要
A chemical sensor based on the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) is studies for detection of toxic gases such as ammonia, toluene, xylene, ethyl acetate, 4-methyl-2-pentanone and propionic acid. The SPR sensor in which very thin synthetic-polymer-film, such as methyl methacrylate, polyester-resin and propylene ether is coated on the gold thin film exhibites high sensitibity for these toxic gases, compared with the sensor with only gold metal film.
