摘要
Wearable sensors deliver real-time and vital information of the individual's health conditions. The concept of smart textiles has lately progressed due to significant demand for wearable electronics and technology in addition to flexible and light-weight sensors for bio-potential monitoring. Also, it helps in acquiring bio-signals in a non-invasive manner. For assessing the heart health hazards now-a-days, the medical devices are nowadays incorporating nanomaterials. Nanomaterials, especially CNTs (Carbon Nanotubes), are used in the medical domain. Due to their exceptional conductivity and mechanical strength, CNTs are used for sensing applications in the medical domain. As CNTs are entangled, they form networks which help in the conduction procedure. Therefore, these are exquisite for acquiring weak bio-signals such as ECG. As the death rates due to various CVDs (Cardiovascular Diseases) have taken a toll, it becomes imperative to continuously monitor the cardiac activities to minimize deaths due to sudden heart attacks, etc. To fulfill this requirement, the ECG sensors should be light-weight and comfortable to the wearer. Hence, CNTs can be utilized for this purpose. Consequently, the acquired ECG signals can be transmitted to the medical fraternity, hence saving lives of various people. Hence, in this paper, we discuss various techniques for fabricating CNT based wearable ECG sensors.
