摘要
Aiming to analyze the grinding efficiency of the large-type ball mill, the discrete element model is established through Three Dimensional (3D) discrete element method in this paper. The lifter height is divided into five groups. Its influence on the motion of medium, usable power, low speed area and collision energy loss is compared and analyzed. The results show that the motion trajectories are better when the lifter height is 100 mm. The usable powers show an increasing trend and the low velocity area decreases as the height of the lifters increases. The lifter height has certain influence on the proportion of energy loss in various types of collision, though not significant, and the proportion of energy consumption loss ball to ball is the largest.
