The pollution of chemical pesticides and safe production of vegetables

Chemical pesticide plays an important role in ensuring the crop yield. However, when chemical pesticides killed the pests and other harmful organisms, the agricultural products and environment were also polluted. The pollution ways of chemical pesticides on atmosphere, water, soil and crops were summarized in this paper. Taking the vegetables production in winter in China and Hainan province as example, the consumption situations of chemical pesticides have been analyzed. The consumption content of chemical pesticide showed an increased trend year by year in China. The consumption content of chemical pesticide showed first an increase, then a decrease and then an increased trend in Hainan province. The reasonable use of pesticide is the key to control environmental pollution and the safe production of vegetables. The control strategies of chemical pesticide pollution were summarized, which could provide a reference for the rational use of chemical pesticide and environment protection.
