摘要
This article explores the experience of mediation in the production of Latin American literature in the contemporary cultural scene and discusses the idea of "World Literature." The general frame for this reflection encompasses the function of the producers and gatekeepers in modern literature and in the context of globalization. The main hypothesis focuses on interpreting the changes in the role of producers and mediators, how culture becomes mediation, and their effects on the circulation and consumption of literature and culture. Two case studies (works by Dani Zelko and Valeria Luiselli) are considered and this reflection is linked to the changes in cultural production and consumption under the pandemic.
