Preparation and characterization of La0.9Sr0.1Ga0.8Mg0.2O3-α by citrate method

摘要
La0.9Sr0.1Ga0.8Mg0.2O3-alpha was prepared by a citrate method. Thermal analysis (TG/DTA) was used to characterize the thermal decomposition of the organic ligands of the gel. The gel decomposed to its oxides at 256 similar to 309 degreesC. X-ray diffraction patterns indicate a pure primitive-cubic phase is formed by 1300 degreesC without impure phases. The impedance spectra of an 88%-dense sample exhibit no grain-boundary contribution, a conductivity sigma =2.1x10(-2)Scm(-1) at 800 degreesC and an activity energy E=0.98eV.
