Temperature dependent rate constants for O2(b) deactivation by O2(X)

摘要
Rate constants for the deactivation of O-2(b) by collisions with O-2(X) have been determined in the temperature range from 297 to 800 K. O-2(h) was excited by pulses from a tunable dye laser, and the deactivation kinetics were followed by observing the temporal behavior of the b(1)Sigma(g) - X-3 Sigma(g) transition fluorescence. The deactivation rate constants for O-2 can be represented by the expression ko2=7.4x10(-17)xT(0.5)xexp(-1104.7 +/- 53.3/T).
