摘要
The justification of living donation is based mainly on the following criteria. A far better graft prognosis compared to cadaveric organs, an only minimal peril to the donor, a saving of money for dialysis, and last not least the fact that cadaveric donation will be unable to meet the needs of transplantation. The Hippocratic Oath used, in particular, to contradict living donation is not inconsistent to living donation, when interpreted very carefully. If voluntarinesss and motivation are the main preconditions of living donation the anonymous donor is superior to any donor genetically or emotionally related to the possible recipient. So it seems quite incomprehensible that legislation of a society that is based upon "Christian" principles disapproves a consistently lived "Christian" charity by refusal of an anonymous altruistic donation.
