MoS2/Zn0.5Cd0.5S hierarchical nano-heterostructure for efficient light absorption and photocatalytic pollution degradation

摘要
Photocatalytic pollution degradation exhibits good properties of energy- and cost-efficiency. However, currently, the efficient catalysts are still pursued owing to the severe charge recombination. In this work, a novel and efficient MoS2/Zn0.5Cd0.5S hybrid with pomegranate-like hierarchical nanostructure has been developed. Thanks to its unique structure with large surface-to-volume ratio and well-defined interfaces, the active sites were thoroughly exposed and the charge recombination was significantly retarded. As a result, the synthesized catalyst reveals high efficient on RhB degradation. © 2020 Elsevier GmbH
