The role of the international relations within the university strategy

All universities give high priority to the internationalisation of studies, within significant focus on exchange of both students and professors with foreign institutions. The possibility for its academic staff and students to realize training courses abroad, apply for different stipends, attend international scientific events, participate in international common projects and programmes, collaborate within the framework of bilateral agreements, access the internet and to exchange information etc., are just some of the positive aspects which contribute in a very high measure to the quality standard of the higher education. The offered courses in foreign language, the promoting brochures, the membership in prestigious associations, the presence in international catalogues etc., are some of the objectives of each university strategy. At the same time an important role is attributed to the participation in the common projects of scientific cooperation. In the context of the coming accession of Romania to the European Union, the international activities of all Romanian universities are very important for their future and their success.
