摘要
Based on archival materials and special literature, the article analyzes the application of customary law, Sharia and Russian law in Dagestan in the post-reform period. Under the influence of Russian laws, the practice of punishment has changed, including for the female population. It was revealed that Russian justice in its decisions proceeded from the principle of equality of women and men before the law.
