摘要
The paper presents some challenges regarding software methodology for Distributed Development of Software and e-Learning system. Of course this system was influenced by well known e-Learning platforms but come to improve them on exploitation and it is based on our experience in exploitation. The classical methodology of each field was enriched by innovative approaches. There are currently many e-Learning platforms on the global market, either open source or proprietary. Tesys is an e-Learning system that offers tools for providing Web-based publication of content, off-line data management and a custom recommender system. One may view Tesys-Web that is an e-Learning platform that has been designed and implemented to offer users a collaborative environment in which they can perform educational activities. This means downloading courses, taking tests and exams, communicating with colleagues, professors and secretaries. The tool has also implemented administration capabilities for professors and secretaries. These capabilities allow general administration of content: disciplines, chapters, documents, quizzes, etc. The second is Tesys Data Manager (TDM) that is a desktop application that has implemented capabilities for managing the content of the Tesys-Web tool. TDM may edit the disciplines, chapters and other resources and can export/import data from/to Tesys-Web system. The third is eLeTK that is an e-Learning Enhancer Toolkit. It is a tool that works as a service along Tesys-Web. It can analyze data provided by Tesys-Web (e. g., the database, log files, etc.) in order to provide feedback for learners and it works as a recommender system for learners and professors.
