摘要
In the present paper a process supervision of the beet quality for a sugar producing plant is presented. Based on a description of the sugar process itself the occuring problem of observing the beet quality is explained. Accordingly different process and signal analysing methods are taken into consideration. The chosen observer solution uses process data and variables in order to calculate characteristic values for the beets. Next the implementation of the derived algorithms in the process control system of the sugar plant is shown. The paper concludes with a summary and a short outlook. Copyright (C) 1998 IFAC.
