摘要
industry Engineering (I.E.) embodies the comprehensive applications of System Analysis. Modem Manufacturing Technology and human-factor Engineering etc., which can result in a continuous increase of the efficiency and profits in the production. This paper is to study the applications of LE. in the field of design by creating a system of planning and design production line composed of Modular Machine Tools (MMT). An intelligent quotation system of MMT line (IQSML) det-eloped by authors will be introduced in this paper. CAD and CAG technology, Expert System, System Analysis method and man-machine interface etc. are applied in planning and building the system. Some feasible schemes can be provided automatically by the system, then an optimal scheme can be output by proper intervention of the expert. At the same time, a sketch map showing the line and scheme diagram of every MMT is going to be output and the reasonable price will be quoted. All these processes can be completed by computer rapidly. therefore, IQSML greatly increase the efficiency of design and lever of atomization. This paper summarizes the idea and practical application of I.E. in this project, and only discusses about comprehensive evaluation of feasible schemes which are generated by this system.
