摘要
Safety control of high-steep mine slopes is a complicated engineering geological problem, especially in cold regions, the safety should be paid more attention to under the freeze-thaw effect. Taking the project of pit slope engineering of Mengku iron mine in Altay for example, the concept of preventive safety control is put forward as well as the control measures based on analysis of effect factors of stability. The specific measures include slope inspection, monitoring and early warning, controlled blast and obstruction of freeze-thaw effect, which can systematically meet the needs of preventive safety control. The in-situ application is proved to be effective and worthy to be used in other similar projects.
