摘要：
The present research work is carried out to investigate the effect of Hydrol 68 grade oils on elliptical journal bearing. Experiments are carried out on hydrodynamic journal bearing test rig to evaluate the lubricating oil temperature and pressure at the mid plane and ends of the circumferential bearing. Hydrogel68 lubricating oil at different loads (100N, 200N and 300N) and speed (1000, 2000 and 3000 RPM) at constant feeding pressure (0.25 Mpa) is applied on journal bearing of 6.52cm inner diameter and 8.5 cm of outer diameter. Results reported the Hydrol 68 oil with an constant speed and varying loads, to evaluate temperature and pressure is observed along the mid plane and ends for different circumferential angles.
