摘要：

The current theoretical basis and practice of human resource management acknowledges that a systematic and regular auditing of human resources and human resource management is the foundation of prosperity and competitiveness of each business. However, despite this knowledge is not the audit of human resources always well implemented and used often in order to improve the human capital as the basis of the business and its competitive ability. This article deals with the results, that were obtained in a survey aimed at finding the usage of audit as a tool for corporate governance. The survey respondents were corporate management companies operating in Slovakia. This article has scientific and informational purpose and is the basis for the VEGA 1/0053/2012 project.
