摘要
The central question addressed by this article is that of how to understand organizations. Following modernism and postmodernism it is argued that we find ourselves caught up in an irresolvable theoretical as well as practical dilemma due to a common ontological distinction. By introducing Actor Network Theory as a methodology, it is suggested that a wider concept of agency should be introduced to the field of organizational psychology. Through the use of a case, this article discusses how the concepts of networks and human and nonhuman actors bring about a more comprehensive understanding of organizational problems and new possibilities for bringing about change. Finally the consequences for our understanding of what organizational psychology is about are considered.
