摘要
The impacts of social isolation resulting from the pandemic situation caused by Covid-19 and its import on the production and consumption of services linked to digital technologies are undeniable. Considering the atypical context, the focus of this study is to understand how 45 teachers from Brazilian schools of basic education appropriated digital technologies in times of global pandemic and to identify the influence on their pedagogical practice. We justify this study based on the importance of the mediating role of the teacher regarding the use of technologies in education, especially at the time of prevalence of remote teaching activities. Data were collected in the continuing education course on digital technologies offered to public school teachers in Brazil, between April and May 2020, and demonstrated that the weaknesses ore related to the accumulation of functions, unpreparedness, insecurity and limitations in conditions of access. As potential, the approach between people is indicated, the opportunity for change that involves studying, participating in courses, preparing differentiated classes, among others. As for the feelings provoked by this unusual reality, fear and uncertainty are highlighted, related to the vulnerability of health and life, as well as the use of Digital Technologies.
