Study of heat flux distribution in continuous casting mold

摘要
One mathematical model was used to calculate the local heat flux in mold by using the thermal-couple data of forecast leaking steel in mold. The temperature of copper plate and local heat flux of mold heat face were given under various operated conditions. Based on these calculations, the rim thickness of slag was calculated and the influenced factors on copper plate and local heat flux and rim thickness of slag were analyzed in detail.
