摘要：
A thermoeconomical optimization analysis is presented yielding a simple algebraic formula for estimating the optimum area of cross-flow heat exchangers of both unmixed-type fluids which are applied industrially. An economical analysis method is used in the present study, together with the thermal analyses of heat exchangers, for thermoeconomical optimization. The validity of the optimization formulations was checked.
