Universities used to think that the knowledge goes from the Academic area to rest of the world. It seems that the knowledge is an exclusive heritage of researchers. But, in fact, the knowledge is usually were it is produced and in general, it is produced in the "real world: it is produced by the companies. This need is growing with the new telecommunication technologies and, specially, the use of Internet. Thus, Continuing Education Centres should help to train the engineers using this new media. Probably, Continuing Education Centres should become a virtual support to pelt available the knowledge from the companies using Internet.
