151Eu Mossbauer spectroscopy of the filled skutterdite-type compound EuRu4P12

摘要
EuRu4P12 with the filled skutterudite-type crystal structure undergoes a ferromagnetic transition at T-C = 17.8 K. Eu-151 Mossbauer spectroscopy was carried out on EuRu4P12. A magnetic hyperfine field is -398 kOe at 4.2 K and a transferred hyperfine field of -58 kOe is estimated. The transferred hyperfine field of -330 kOe in EuFe4P12 which is ferromagnetic below 100 K is about six times larger than that of EuRu4P12. This ratio of the transferred hyperfine fields correspond well to that of the Curie temperatures.
