Theoretical study of the close-loop atomic magnetometer with a transverse pumping feedback

摘要
Atomic magnetometer is a high precision sensor for measuring magnetic fields. We demonstrate a novel way to control the spin polarization of atomic magnetometer in close-loop. The x-axis polarization rate is kept to zero by feeding back the circular polarization of a transverse light which is a circularly polarized laser from transverse direction. The electron polarization on x-axis responding to the magnetic field is simulated, and the result shows that P-x can be kept to zero in the close-loop mode. Through a modulated B-x magnetic field, the B-y and B-z magnetic field can be demodulated in X-0 and X-1 modes from the transverse light with a pumping rate of R-m.
