AN EVOLUTIONARY APPROACH ON THE INNOVATION PROCESS

Modelling the innovation process allows for expressing the essence of innovation, while creating and continuously reconfiguring the innovation process. At the same time, it allows for expressing the main features of the global economic context in which the innovation models have developed. Present paper aims at providing an overall perspective on the evolution of innovation models, which should be linked to the economic background which has determined their development. Furthermore, present paper targets the academia and researchers by pinpointing that future trends and directions of development in terms of innovation models should be identify in the evolution of the global economy.
