摘要
In this study, cross-linked polystyrene microspheres (PS) with high porosity were synthesized via a suspension polymerization method. A series of menthol@polystyrene microsphere composites were synthesized via a novel "in-pore crystallization" strategy by employing porous PS microspheres as the carrier. The release behavior of Menthol under different temperature was studied by a hot-air sweeping method, and it was found to be fitted with the law of biphase kinetics. Compared to the samples obtained via mechanically blending, the present supported composites display a controlled release of menthol in a rather broad temperature range (30 similar to 80 degrees C). This kind of new preparation technology is expected to be useful for designing novel high-performance menthol-based products.
