Research on the Development Patterns of Domestic and Foreign Low-carbon Tourism

The development of low-carbon tourism will encourage tourists change their travel means, enhance industry upgrade of tourist area and realize the sustainable development of tourism industry. The development patterns of low-carbon tourism is affected by various factors, including both subjective and objective factors. Subjective factors include the willing of government, tourist and investor; while objective factors are associated with social development and science & technology level. Low-carbon tourism can be divided into market-oriented, government-dominated and community-driven development patterns. The focus to promote the development of China's low-carbon tourism, and tourism industry transition is to highlight the low carbon urban development, low-carbon technology development, low-carbon awareness popularization and accurate positioning of government.
