Polymerization of ethylene, propylene and 1-hexene over (2-MeInd)2ZrCl2/MAO catalyst

摘要
Ethylene, propylene and 1-hexene were polymerized over an unbridged metallocene catalyst, bis(2-ethylindenyl)zirconium dichloride [(2-MeInd)(2)ZrCl2]. The catalytic activity toward ethylene polymerization decreased with decreasing polymerization temperature, while reverse trends were observed in the case of propylene and 1-hexene. A slight increase in the mm triad fraction and elastomeric properties of polypropylene was observed when propylene was polymerized at a lower temperature. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd.
