摘要
The micropore size distribution in TiO2 particles comprising anatase nanocrystals was evaluated using N-2 adsorption. The solutions containing ammonium hexafluorotitanate and boric acid were kept at 50 degrees C for 30 min. and left to cool for 1 day. The particles comprised nanocrystals of anatase TiO2 precipitated in the solutions. NLDFT analysis of the adsorption isotherm indicated the existence of pores similar to 0.7 nm in diameter. These pores caused high BET surface area in the particles (168 m(2)/g). The unique morphology of these particles with their high volume of micropores and large BET surface area has potential use in many applications. (C) 2008 The Ceramic Society of Japan.
