Decision-Making of Two Mixed Supply Chains with an Investment in RFID Technology

摘要
RFID technology can eliminate inventory shrinkage of supply chain, however the investment cost is too high, therefore it's indispensable for supply chain enterprises to study the feasibility of investing RFID technology. The research bases on two mixed supply chains, one is decentralized and the other is centralized, each chain contains a manufacturer and a retailer, the manufacturers offer two kinds of alternative products through their retailers. This paper is divided into four scenarios to discuss RFID technology investment: neither, either one or the other and both use, then we explore the interaction mechanism of two competitive supply chains on decisions of investing RFID technology. Through the research, it's concluded: whether to use RFID technology is related to tag price, and tag price threshold is given.
