摘要
Smart home is a feature that comes from the pervasive computing to enhance the effective usage of devices in a home environment. Smart home enable us to achieve comfort, safety, security and energy consumption in a home environment. The objective of our work is to extend Smart home environment by introducing a service called centralized controller. Nowadays electricity in several areas is circulated due to the low availability of electricity. So we propose a scheme to operate the home devices in a time where electricity is present even though user is not present inside the home. The area in which the Smart home is present power will be circulated so in our proposed design we set two ways to provide power to the devices in a smart home. One is ordinary electrical line and another one is any form of alternative source like photovoltaic or windmill. The Centralized controller will play a major role by scheduling the devices present inside home to be operated in a particular time period in which the electricity is available and also it will altering the energy source from the electrical line to alternative source photovoltaic or windmill. Our system will enable the user to access the entire device present inside the Smart home from outside through a secured message transmission way.
