摘要
Collision avoidance for broadcast packets in wireless networks is still a relatively open problem. The source of the problem is that there are multiple receivers for a single packet and it is difficult to coordinate them for medium reservation. This paper proposes a new, in-band pulse approach to addressing the problem and shows by extensive simulations how the approach significantly reduces the collisions in wireless networks with broadcast traffic and thus improves the network throughput.
