摘要
We present two targets from our XMM-Newton GT programme on merging clusters. A1750 is a bimodal cluster which displays a hot region between the two components but no significant morphological signs of interaction, suggesting an early phase of merger. A3921 is a 3:1 mass ratio merger, which shows a distorted gas distribution in the center of the main cluster and a temperature which reaches 5.8 keV in the region between the components. This hot region is parallel to the line joining the two centres. A phenomenological comparison with numerical simulations suggests that A3921 is an off-axis merger observed just after the first close core passage.
