Martensite-ferrite interface strength in a low-carbon bainitic steel

摘要
Damage by void nucleation at martensite particles in a low-carbon bainitic steel occurs at a true tensile strain of 0.90 +/- 0.05. Several void-nucleation models are considered, and the strength of the martensite-ferrite interface is determined to be 2.4 - 2.5 GPa. (c) 2005 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
