摘要
The results of experimental study of cavitation in a vortex generator of flow-through type are presented. It is shown that when high-pressure tangential or radial jets are injected into a generator chamber a cavitation develops in it. The most intense cavitation processes occur in the bottom region. The cavitation intensity in this part of the generator depends significantly on the kind of the jets, the locations of the jet injection relative to the bottom, the geometry of the flow-through section, and the pressures at the inlet and outlet of the generator.
