摘要
The plastic analysis of a structure has been fully investigated on a static problem. Recently, the dynamic plastic analysis of a structure has been required because an actual structure must be also safe for any dynamic external agency, such as an earthquake. Unless the accumulated plastic deformation induces a severe accident on the structure, such as collapse, the relatively small plastic deformation may be allowable for some kinds of structure. It is effective to study the dynamic behavior of a structure beyond the elastic limit for saving money We have studied, the dynamic plastic behavior of a simple spring-mass-damped system with one degree of freedom. Consequently, it has been cleared that there are a stable and an unstable response on elastic and plastic deformation depending on the frequency and the amplitude of external oscillatory agency. It is more effective to investigate the dynamic response of a beam in order to apply to an actual structure. Then, the dynamic response of a cantilever, which is subjected to external oscillatory displacement, is discussed here.
