摘要
The pressure drop due to Joule-Thomson effect shows an improved effectiveness. Due to miniaturization JouleThomson effect are more prominent, hence it's effect should be considered. The current study on a countercurrent, parallel flow cryogenic heat exchanger presents improved effectiveness due to the Joule-Thomson pressure drop. The investigation considered seven dimensionless parameters for the analysis, from which one to account for the Joule-Thomson effect. The effects are represented in non-dimensional parameters, presenting appreciable data towards improved effectiveness of the heat exchanger.
