摘要：

Health education is an important component of comprehensive quality education for college students. More and more competition in their life, study and career has become fierce, resulting in spead of physical and mental diseases in college students leading to non-optimistic health situation. In this paper, by analyzing the current health status and causes of physical and mental diseases, we study the problems presented in the health education, and raise the importance of health education for college students and the one of physical sports for health education. Physical education in colleges and universities should have "health first" as a guiding ideology in order to improve the health status of students.
