Crystallization of mechanically alloyed amorphous Zr-Al-Ni-Cu-Ag alloy

摘要
The transformation behaviors from the amorphous to crystalline phases were clarified in mechanically alloyed amorphous Zr65Cu7.5Ni10Ag10 alloy. It was found that the primary precipitation of the mechanically alloy annealed at the temperature in supercooled region is Zr2Cu. Furthermore, the calculated activation energy for crystallization is 237.78-kJ/mol, much lower than the activation energy of 366-kJ/mol of the quenched alloy.
