摘要
Composite materials containing polymers are widely used in many structures because of their improved properties. A better knowledge of materials behaviour, especially in the field of admixtures, and better understanding of curing processes allowed the development of highly performing modified concrete. It is very important to keep optimum conditions of PCC curing. Portland cements need wet curing conditions but polymers need dry conditions. The tests were carried out on portland cement concrete specimens with different amount of water dispersion based on styrene and acrylic acid esters (from 0 to 20% related to cement mass). The specimens were subjected to different thermal and moisture curing conditions. Experimental results of technical properties of PCC cured under various conditions are presented in the paper. The PCCs tested have shown higher compressive strength, lower water absorbability and lower capillary suction.
