摘要
Twisted bilayer graphene (TBG) exhibits fascinating correlation-driven phenomena, such as the superconductivity and a Mott insulating state, with flat bands and a chiral lattice structure. Recently, based on quantum-transport calculations, scientists claimed that chirality leads to a giant unidirectional magnetoresistance (UMR) in TBG. The giant UMR represents diode-like current rectification and can convert radiation (e.g., terahertz) into the current for energy-harvesting and photodetection. This discovery has revealed more novel physical properties of the TBG and inspired researchers to explore other chiral bilayer structure materials.
